A few more weeks and summer will soon be over. But after we say goodbye to this most-awaited of all the season, there are a few things that I need to do before the rainy season comes.

Of course, top of my list is to enroll my kids to school and buy them all the school stuff they need. I shall be enrolling my youngest for the first time, too, so I expect that this school year will be a lot challenging than the last. Of course, if I can have it, I’d love have another family outing before we finally say goodbye to summer.

Another thing that tops my list of a few more things to do before the season ends is to have a general cleaning in the house. The hot, humid day is perfect for moving around, cleaning here and there. Now I just need the energy to do these things and the other stuff that complete the list. Wish me luck!

I simply love food that is why one of the activities that I enjoy doing the most with my children is dining out whenever I have free time. We may not be eating out on one of those swanky restaurants in easton pa but a local restaurant that serves most of our favorites cannot be that bad.

I make it a point to check whether our prospect restaurant has a variety of dishes in their menu that my choosy kids will appreciate. I also make sure that these restaurants are kid-friendly and offers free appetizers for children or will at least give them free coloring sheets and crayons to get their little hands busy while we wait to be seated or for our dinner to be served. If a resto’s dishes are reasonably priced, then they are good in my book, too!

It has been awhile since I have dined out with my children, it is about time we do it again real soon. This weekend sounds like the perfect time to do it, won’t you agree?
